About May AlSaad

“What I create is what I think about, what I feel, the way I live. I don't have and don't seek inspiration from outside myself. "

Holding a BA in Business Administration, May is a self-taught artist that has left a mark in the Kuwaiti/Arab Art Map since 1993 through participating in several solo & group exhibitions across Asia, the Middle East and Europe.. May’s true artistic focus is capturing movements and beats of Arabian culture, bringing them to life through color on canvas. More recent projects revolved around controversial political issues and literature inspired by the region. 

May Alsaad  was awarded "The Royal Highness Emir of Kuwait Shaikh Sabah AlAhmad AlJaber AlSabah Award  for Creativity for the years 2013 &2014.

 Essa Saqer  Prize for Creativity in AlGurain Festival 2012

 First Prize in Kuwait Art Festival 2011, and the First Prize in IBOAC international contest 2010.

First Place in the Annual IBOAC International Competition
